In the weekend I went to Hanmer Springs with my friends, Rosie, Grace and Franky. We went for Franky's birthday.
Maria (Frankys mum) picked us up from our houses at 9:00am. It was an hour and 45mins car ride.
On the way to Hanmer we stopped at a maze. Once we got there we unpacked our bags and got dropped off to walk around the shops, we bought some lollies from the lolly shop.
After that we went back to the house and put on our togs to go for a swim, we went on the hydroslides but unfortunately one of the new rides was getting built so we couldn't go on that one.
Then we got changed and headed home to have dinner.
For dinner we had pasta and salad. After dinner we went to the room and talked for a bit then we went to sleep. We slept until 9:30am.
Then we got dressed and went for a walk up conical hill. After that we went to relax at the hot pools.
We went on the hydroslides, lazy river, the lane pools and hot pools.
We left hanmer at 6:30pm, before we left we got hot chips. In the car on the way home we prank called a few people. It was so much fun and I hope I can do it again soon!

NETBALL
Name: Jess
WALT: Use PARAGRAPHS
Date: 23/9/19
Subject of paragraph: Netball
Notes to include
Passing
Catching
shooting
Paragraph 1
Passing:
When you’re passing the ball in netball you need to grip your hands onto the ball and throw it directly at the catcher’s chest. You will need to throw the ball with strength and power. Pass it from your chest to the catcher’s chest so it is easier for the catcher to collect. Try not to lob pass or bounce pass to the catcher, because it makes the ball easier to get for the other team.
Paragraph 2
Catching:
When your catching the ball bring it into your chest so it’s easier to throw back out to another player. keep your eye on the ball at all times. And always be in space so the player can throw you the ball. If the opposing team lob passes or bounce passes it over to another player try to intercept the ball even if it looks way too hard to get.
Paragraph 3
Shooting:
When you’re shooting the ball into the hoop, you will need to take your time. At the start of the game of netball if you get to choose which hoop, always choose the hoop without the sun, it's easier to shoot without the sun in your eyes. And always try to get the right angle.

I will now try not to go on technology at night.
What I learnt was that if you sleep in a cold room you are more likely to have nightmares :)))
